This is the chairman of the Olgulului Group Ranch, which is the collective ground of the Maasai around Amboseli. He is head of 35.000 Maasai people (children not included!) who have united themselves in this Group Ranch.
BTI Foundation is active in The Netherlands as well as in Kenya/Africa. We are convinced this is THE way to involve all BTI staff members, fellow workers and partners in the objectives BTI Foundation strives for. To be concerned with the issues, and where possible work together in partnership, has so far already showed impressive results. Below you’ll find the persons from Kenya, who, in cooperation with BTI Foundation, each in his or her own way, are active in realizing good education for all Maasai.

This is the program Officer of BTI Foundation in Kenya. Bernard was involved in the development of BTI Foundation from the very beginning and we contact him on a weekly basis about the progress we are making. He is coordinator for both communities and through intensive collaboration with him we were able to achieve a lot in a short period of time. Bernard, being a Maasai himself, knows these communities through and through and this is a great advantage in our work. He maintains our contacts and supervises the agreements we made with the communities.
This is the chairman of the Olasiti Cultural Manyatta and a very important person for our collaboration. We made our first agreements with him and his team in 2007. He proposes things on behalf of his community and he is supporter of a partnership with BTI Foundation from the very beginning.
This is our man in Nairobi! Although the area of our work is in the surroundings of Amboseli National Park, Nairobi is becoming more and more important for BTI Foundation. This is where we contact people and organizations and do research. Saruni, a Maasai himself, lives in Nairobi and that is one of the reasons why he is the right man to represent BTI Foundation in Nairobi.
