What we were already doing

A collaboration came into existence through the introduction with the two Maasai communities in December of 2007. For example, we started to make an inventory of the local problems to make sure we didn’t step into the known pitfalls of giving aid. Immediately we started working together with the communities in different areas (see the four initiatives). TOGETHER we renovated schools, we built toilets, we established school committee’s, sent teachers to college, we drew attention to the position of girls in school, we explained the importance of textbooks to parents, we supported women’s groups, we arranged for a brochure, we arranged a workshop for all the people involved, we started adult education, etc., etc.

We need your help to support our projects and people in Kenya.
